This policy explains what personal data the Wardree mobile app and its services collect, why, who it is shared with and how you can control it. The data controller is Mert Gökçe (İstanbul, Türkiye). Contact: 1wardree@gmail.com.
1. Data we collect
- Account: name, email address, password (stored only as a hash), gender (used to pick the try-on silhouette), language, profile photo.
- Wardrobe: photos of your clothes, their names, notes, colours, seasons and categories; outfits and the days you wore them.
- Style Studio: the person photo you upload for a virtual try-on. It is deleted right after the try-on finishes; only the generated result is kept.
- Social features: posts you share to Explore, likes, comments, follows, wardrobe sharing and borrow requests with friends.
- Purchases: subscription and credit purchases are paid through the App Store or Google Play. We only receive the product, transaction number and dates; we never see your card details.
- Technical: device notification token, IP address and security logs.
We do not collect your precise location. The weather card uses a fixed city.
2. Why we use it
- To provide the app: your wardrobe, outfits, try-ons, sharing and borrowing.
- To keep Explore safe: photos you share from your own wardrobe are checked automatically for nudity, violence and off-topic content.
- To process purchases, credits and subscriptions.
- To send notifications you enabled (likes, follows, borrow requests, campaigns).
- To keep the service secure and meet legal obligations.
3. AI processing and transfers abroad
With your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time in the app settings:
- Google (USA) generates Style Studio try-ons from your person photo and clothing photos.
- Photos you share to Explore from your own wardrobe are reviewed by AI running on our own servers; they are not sent abroad. Style Studio results are not reviewed.
Without this consent you can still use the app, but Style Studio and sharing your own photos to Explore are unavailable.
4. Who we share data with
- Other users: only what you choose to show (Explore posts, public profile, items you share with a friend).
- Service providers: hosting, Google Firebase (notifications), Apple and Google (payments), Google (AI, see above).
- Authorities, when required by law.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. Retention and deleting your account
We keep your data while your account is open. You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete my account; your account, photos, wardrobe, posts and history are then permanently erased, except records we must keep by law.
6. Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, get a copy, have it corrected or deleted, object to processing and withdraw consent. Write to 1wardree@gmail.com. Residents of Türkiye have the rights listed in Article 11 of the KVKK; see the KVKK notice.
7. Children
Wardree is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
8. Changes
We will announce material changes in the app before they take effect.
